Snow, Snow and More Snow

The village theme this month is snow.

So far we've broken all records with over 80 inches of snow blanketing the village.

While the snow may be a beautiful sight, the freezing temperatures have made this winter brutal.

Special thanks to Claudia Gregoire for braving the cold and contributing these photos.

Sledding in the Park

Many of us have fond memories of sledding behind the library in the park. This year many more children are building new memories.

Winter Geese

Apparently our geese friends like Collins Lake as long as they can find a little water. Since the lake is spring fed it really has to be cold to freeze everywhere.
