The weather for the first week in April tricked most village residents. Freezing rain and sleet coated trees and bushes.

You couldn't drive down any street this past week in the village without seeing tree damage and wires down. Many residents spent a night or two without power.

It's almost time for the Village of Scotia Centennial Celebration.

Volunteers are busy making plans for our 100th year birthday. Plans include an Anniversary Dinner on February 7th and a week long celebration of Scotia History
June 5th - June 11th, 2004.

A book of Scotia's history will be on sale soon, along with other commemorative souvenirs.
