Scotia Centennial Spirit
Not many residents know that the Hollyhock is the official flower of Scotia.
Historians tell us the Hollyhock was chosen because it takes two years to flower.
Apparently it also took two years of work to establish Scotia as a village in 1904
Hollyhocks are now for sale to benefit the Village 2004 Centennial. Send Email BillP@visitscotia.com
or call 374-3435 if you'd like more information on purchasing Hollyhocks to show your Scotia spirit.
