Theater in the Park - Leader of the Pack Thursday, July 24th - Sunday, July 27th at 7 PM in Freedom Park. Theater in the Park is the summer branch of the Scotia-Glenville High School Drama Club. What has quickly become a SGHS Drama tradition, the group has appeared in Freedom Park the last three summers with productions of "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown", "Cinderella", and "Channel Surfing Survivors". Electric City Chorus A day of rain couldn't keep fans away from this years concert by the Electric City Chorus at Freedom Park. Scotia Centennial Spirit Not many residents know that the Hollyhock is the official flower of Scotia. Historians tell us the Hollyhock was chosen because it takes two years to flower. Apparently it also took two years of work to establish Scotia as a village in 1904 Hollyhocks are now for sale to benefit the Village 2004 Centennial.
