Ice Fishing on Collins Lake

First approved in the winter of 1997-1998 a popular sport in the winter on Collins Lake is ice fishing. Anglers from well beyond the village enjoy sitting out enjoying the spectacular beauty of our lake and park.

The hole below looks a little bigger than the recommended "circular hole of not more than 10 inches in diameter..." as defined by village park use codes.

Town of Glenville WinterFest

Ideal weather arrived on February 5th, 2005 for the Town of Glenvilles Winterfest held at Indian Meadows Park on Droms Rd.

Activities included Horse-drawn sleigh rides, sport equipment demonstrations and lessons, a Snow Science program, Broom Ball, sleding, skating, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The weather was so nice even the folks from Mohawk Valley Skydiving dropped in.
